I cannot really explain the logic of why I followed up the lines extending outwards from the remains of the distinctively arranged campsite at Persepolis nor exactly how my attention was focussed on certain physical features which I found lying along the alignments.

I was so staggered by what I found that for several years I have avoided writing any text to go with the Google Earth screen dumps and the photographs. It really is amazing.

Even now I just dare not express any opinion to explain what I found.
