After a series of successful operations Fabienne is promoted to commander. She takes over from Dominique Prieur who was the controller of the operation to prevent the rainbow warrier disrupting French nuclear tests in the Pacific. Dominique gives Fabienne  a  cautionary tale of how a security operation can go badly wrong.
