Robert Is invited to give a talk at the Sorbonne Unversity on the topic of Economics and Democracy. he was promoting the uk goverment’s caution at the time at the prospect of the EEC becoming the European goverment. He followed up his talk with attendance at virtually every diplomatic  cocktail part thrown in paris and always attended with a list of those he must talk to and hopefully influence.

He becomes aware the he also is being targetted, by a very pretty girl who seems to be always at his side.
