There must be hundreds of topics on the subject of writing which can be taught to those who have no natural appreciation of the topic.

I have chosen the ones which I struggled with, in the hope that my struggles might be of interest to others.

They are not in any particular order but I will confess up front that the one I have most difficulty with is point of view.
