In identifying the characters personalities and development arcs, I have used a product called Character Writer. It does little more than I have learned to do on my Diploma in Writing Course, but if used, it imposes a discipline.

The list of psychological illnesses  is interesting.  It generates  a description of what people suffering from these illnesses might do. The integration with the Enneagam profiles is manual however. More work needed Character writer programmers! Oh! and while we are about it, what about including in the Enneagram section some out and out evil people. I have a couple of those in the stories I have to tell!
