The search for the Visigothic Treasure was not something I set out to do. I was following the path of the Black Prince because John Stanley served in his army. The Prince brought “a great treasure” back to Bordeaux and I could not understand where the treasure might have come from. Then on the suggestion of a librarian, I visited Rennes-le-Château.
